Flight Support
PAV helps eligible military volunteers with commercial flights to or from Ukraine.
Due to demand, current flight support is primarily available to military volunteers returning home after injury or long service, or volunteers who have previously served in Ukraine and are returning.
Flights are never guaranteed. You are normally responsible for luggage, ground transportation, bus or train tickets, hotels, meals and other travel expenses.
Basic Supplies
This application is open to all military volunteers. You can ask for anything from this list:
Food, protein/nutrition supplements, isotonic powder, vitamins, hand/foot warmers, cold weather gear (hats, neck warmers, socks, thermal sets), sun protection, mosquito protection, medical supplies, cold/flu medicine, antiseptic spray, wet wipes, shower packs, duct tape, electrical tape, chicken wire, batteries, cleaning supplies, fridges, washing machines, shovels, small power banks, zip ties
Critical Major Gear
Support for verified equipment needs may include:
Night vision, optics, scopes, drones and components, electronic countermeasures, helmets, uniforms, boots, plate carriers, portable power, generators, Starlinks, vehicles, vehicle repairs and other essential equipment.
Important: Applications for major gear are referral only. Several dozen foreign volunteers in Ukraine have this application and can refer you.
Requests for major gear sent through email, social media or direct messages will not be accepted.
Electronics
PAV distributes donated technology to military units, instructors, hospitals and rehabilitation programs throughout Ukraine.
Available support may include laptops, tablets, Android phones and other technology needed for training, communication and operational work. Please remember these supplies are used. We cannot guarantee that anyone will donate a specific piece of equipment.

Major Gear Requires a Referral
Gear applications are only available through people PAV has previously worked with successfully.
You Must Be Active in Ukraine
First-time volunteers are not eligible for gear assistance before arriving in Ukraine and becoming active in their volunteer role.
Keep RequestsRealistic
PAV has limited resources. Smaller, clearly justified requests are significantly more likely to receive assistance than large equipment lists.
Support Is Not Guaranteed
Every application is evaluated individually and depends on eligibility, available donors and available resources.

For military applications, a current or former member of the Ukrainian military may contact you directly.
Your Role and Need Are Verified
PAV confirms that you are currently active and evaluates whether the requested equipment or assistance is appropriate for your role.
We Look for Support
Once approved, PAV may match you directly with donors or raise funds for your verified request.

Frequently Asked Questions
I don't know anyone who can refer me. Can I still apply for major gear?
Major gear requires a professional reference from someone PAV has previously worked with successfully. The referral system is part of the vetting process and there are no exceptions to this requirement.
Can I request basic supplies without a referral?
Yes. Food, hygiene products, clothing, medical supplies and smaller everyday items use a separate public application and do not require a gear referral.
Can PAV support my entire team?
Potentially, but requests must be realistic. PAV's resources are limited, so smaller and well-defined requests are more achievable.
Can PAV pay for my bus, train or luggage?
In general, no. Flight sponsorship normally covers the approved commercial airline ticket. Other travel costs remain your responsibility.
Can PAV arrange a medical evacuation?
No. PAV can only arrange commercial flights. Injured volunteers who are medically fit to travel commercially may still apply.
What if I cannot disclose information requested in the application?
Do not share restricted or sensitive information. Submit the application with the information you can safely provide and discuss the situation with the vetting team when they contact you.
I did not receive support. Can I get PAV to evaluate again?
No. Decisions are final. You may apply again in the future. Please remember that resources are limited and sometimes we unfortunately have to turn down requests for help.
How long will it take to get help?
We respond to applications in the order that they are received and expedite emergency cases. It is tough to give a specific timeline but we will get to you as fast as we possibly can. If your application is complete and gives detailed information on what you need then we can move faster.
